Demi Lovato is no stranger to being honest about her ups and downs. When she dropped Unbroken last fall, several of the cuts, including the album's staggering lead single, "Skyscraper," seemed to reflect on her own personal journey.

Recorded after she left a treatment center in 2011, the album was full of not only girl-power anthems, but also reflective ballads about the struggles of loving both yourself and others.

"The album I wanted to keep upbeat and uplifting; I didn't want to come out with this depressing album. I think it's important that I kept a lot of my heart open on the album because I talked about my personal issues," she told MTV News about the release before tonight's premiere of her MTV documentary, "Stay Strong," which also touches on many of her personal issues and trying her best to put her life back together after entering rehab in October 2010. "But I also had some fun dance songs on there for people to enjoy," she added about the album.

Whereas some pop stars tend to shy away from their own lives on their albums, Lovato fully embraced the joys and the sorrows of her life. "I think it's nice being able to tell the truth and being able to really talk about these issues rather than hiding it and not talking about it and sharing it," she added. "So I think I enjoy it more than anything I'd done before when I was trying to hide everything." The album's next single is "Give Your Heart a Break."

Lovato is set to welcome fans into her life when "Stay Strong" debuts tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV followed by a live Q&A with the star during "The After Show" at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

"I've just been working at it a day at a time and have been trying to continue to fight my hardest," she told us about still dealing with her problems in the public eye. "And I've had my ups and downs, and I'm still trying, but overall it's been a really great journey, and I'm thankful for everything that I've been through."

Don't miss "Demi Lovato: Stay Strong," debuting tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Ohio: Fight for the undecideds (Politico)

Chillicothe, Ohio ? For Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, the battle for Ohio is being waged here, in the land of the undecideds.

The center of that universe in the Buckeye State is Chillocothe, a small town in central Ohio with a famously independent electorate that has picked a presidential winner all but four times in the past century.

A potpourri of undecided voters in Tuesday?s Ohio primary ? one of the biggest on Super Tuesday just three days from now and perhaps the most important to the fate of the candidates ? crammed into a high-school gym Friday to hear Santorum speak.

Santorum is slightly ahead in the polls, and he and Romney are spending the better part of the weekend campaigning here. At 66 delegates, the state is a big delegate prize. But Santorum will almost definitely lose the argument that he can beat Romney with white, working-class voters if he loses here.

Among the 500 people who came to Santorum?s event Friday, their one commonality was a desire to see Barack Obama defeated.

There were the conservative housewives who said they would sit the election out if Romney were the nominee, and the engineer from the local paper mill who says his plant is being buried in environmental regulations.

The physician, who specializes in breast cancer, was moved by Santorum?s passion but worries about his electability. And the grandmother who prefers Santorum?s brand of conservatism, but would grudgingly settle for Romney.

?Oh, he?s a liberal,? said Ann Hoyt matter-of-factly of Romney.

Only 20,000 people live in this white, middle-class town ? but without fail, the presidential campaign always shows up on their doorstep. It?s where Obama opened his first 2012 Ohio field office this year. (Chillicothe voted for McCain in 2008 and hope to pick a winner this year.)

A number of people who showed up on a rainy day here seemed genuinely undecided four days before the primary.

Streaming service Aereo ready for legal war with TV networks over ...

Incumbent industries have a history of challenging new technologies that disrupt the established way they do business. AT&T sued to keep everything from the answering machine to the Hush-A-Phone out of the market. Yesterday?s news that all the major TV networks are filing suit against streaming TV service Aereo is the latest in a long line of battles about how technology evolves. And Aereo, which recently raised $25 million from backers that include billionaire Barry Diller?s IAC, is ready for a war.

Aereo responded to the lawsuits in a statement this morning:

Today, two groups of broadcasters filed two separate federal lawsuits against Aereo in the Southern District of New York claiming that Aereo will infringe their copyrights by making available technology which enables consumers to access broadcast television via a remote antenna and DVR.? Aereo does not believe that the broadcasters? position has any merit and it very much looks forward to a full and fair airing of the issues.

Consumers are legally entitled to access broadcast television via an antenna and they are entitled to record television content for their personal use. Innovations in technology over time, from digital signals to Digital Video Recorders (?DVRs?), have made access to television easier and better for consumers.? ?Aereo provides technology that enables consumers to use their cloud DVR and their remote antenna to record and watch the broadcast television signal to which they are entitled anywhere they are, whether on a phone, a tablet, a television or a laptop. ?Aereo looks forward to its upcoming product launch as well as a prompt resolution of these cases.

The approach is similar to what streaming service Zediva, which owned physical DVDs and players, but streamed the content to users. They were shut down by a federal court last summer.?Another service, Ivi TV, tried to do exactly what Aereo is doing, rebroadcasting network TV as a web stream, and was also shut down by the courts.?Legal precedent, it seems, is not on Aereo?s side.

The Copyright Act authorizes secondary transmissions of copyrighted works when the party doing the re-transmission pays appropriate licensing fees. But it?s unclear who sets those fees in the new world of streaming video online.

Minneapolis SEO Company, NorthStar SEO, LLC Publishes SEO ...

Minneapolis, MN -- (SBWIRE) --03/01/2012 -- Minneapolis SEO company, NorthStar SEO, LLC., launched only a couple months ago but it is already taking big strides in making its services more accessible to business owners. In addition to having their services available through the website NorthStarSEO.com, the company also recently published an ebook on small business online marketing, written by Travis Van Slooten and James Dreesen, experienced Internet marketing professionals and co-managers of NorthStar SEO, LLC.

NorthStar SEO, LLC. is a Minneapolis SEO company that aims to provide affordable local SEO services to small businesses who have little or no knowledge of building their web presence. The company initially aimed to target local businesses located in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest, but the release of the ebook now allows them to reach small businesses wherever they may be located across the globe.

"We realized that thousands of other businesses out there are in need of sound advice and proven methods for promoting their products and services online," said James Dreesen. "The ebook offers a roadmap for these businesses and we're pleased to be the ones to provide this knowledge."

Entitled, "How Small Businesses Can Thrive Online in 2012," and published through the Amazon Kindle store, the ebook serves as a general blueprint on how small businesses can effectively compete for a share of the vast consumer market through the web. While it primarily focuses on search engine optimization techniques, the ebook also provides an overview of other possible strategies that businesses can do to generate revenue online.

"Some people may be wondering, why an ebook and why the Amazon Kindle?" says co-author Travis Van Slooten. "It's simple really; it's the surest way of reaching more business owners."

According to Travis, the decision to come up with an ebook and publish it through Amazon was one that required little deliberation because the numbers show that the ebook and ereader market is growing significantly.

A recent study revealed that the number of ebook owners in the US jumped dramatically from 10 percent in December 2011 to 19 percent in January 2012. It can also be recalled that over a year ago Amazon revealed that it is selling 143 ebooks for every 100 hardcover books sold. Further, publishing giant Hachette Book Group reported a 130% increase in ebook sales for 2011. Judging from these from figures, it's clear that ebooks are the way to a wider readership.

"Having a dominating web presence is a must for businesses who want to make it big in 2012 and beyond," adds James. "This ebook can be a valuable resource to help them achieve just that."

"How Small Businesses Can Thrive Online in 2012" is available for only $9.99 in the Amazon Kindle store or FREE for Amazon Prime members. For more information about the ebook, the company and its local seo services, or about obtaining a free SEO analysis visit NorthStarSEO.com.
