RADFORD, Va. Alexx Puckett, Angelica Henry and Katelyn Connor each scored double digits for Coastal, but it wasn?t enough as Radford dominated with four players posting 10-plus point performances to down the visiting Chanticleers 68-50 on Thursday afternoon.
Puckett led Coastal with a career-high 16 points, Henry poured in 13 of her own, and Connor added 10. The Chants? 24 turnovers were the proverbial nail in the coffin that led to the loss.
Radford?s Ashley Buckhannon established a game-high 22 points, including five three-pointers. Victoria Hamilton and Diani Mason each scored 11, while Sara Tabb added 10 points.
The Chanticleers will face Big South newcomer Longwood on Saturday at 2 p.m.
